national campus rep programme
You can join YSPI as a volunteer Campus Representative and help promote our vital work in your school or college "because one life lost is one life too many"

YSPI are looking to improve our services for secondary schools, colleges and universities around the country, and as part of this campaign we would like to recruit a Campus Representatives(s) for each school and college so they can promote and  support us in our work fighting youth suicide among one of our main client groups, students.

The duties would include:

  • Promoting the work and services of YSPI on campus
  • Setting up an Awareness Event at your college where YSPI will attend
  • Distributing YSPI leaflets and awareness materials
  • Putting up and maintaining YSPI posters for student services
  • Acting as point of contact for Students and Student Representatives.
  • Promoting YSPI Fundraisers and Activities

This role would suit someone who is over 17 years old, has a keen interest in social policy, is outgoing and comfortable chatting with new people and who is keen to promote suicide awareness and prevention.  We will be organising training days in each province so that reps can meet each other and we can introduce you to YSPI's services and programmes.  If you have ASIST training or similar this would be advantageous but please note this is not meant to be a counseling or intervention role but acting as our point of contact on campus. YSPI will be happy to provide a reference for successful participants in this programme and appointed representatives can include this voluntary role in their CV.

You can register your interest by completing the form HERE.  We will then contact you personally to have a chat so please include your mobile number.
